He’s a two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist (1995 and 2000) and winner of the Berryman Award for Editorial Cartoons from the National Press Foundation. More.

Writers

Staffers at the Charleston City Paper spent countless hours poring over thousands of pages in books and websites to research and compile the information in 350 Facts About Charleston.  Meet who they are:

Andy Brack, publisher of the Charleston City Paper and Statehouse Report, has more than 30 years of experience in journalism.  A former U.S. Senate press secretary, he has written a syndicated political column throughout the 21st century.  Brack, a graduate of Duke University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, lives in Charleston.  Contact:  brack@charlestoncitypaper.com

Skyler Baldwin, a journalism graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma, has been a staff writer at the City Paper since 2019.

Heath Ellison, who has a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of South Carolina, is former music editor and staff writer at the City Paper.

Connelly Hardaway, former arts editor of the City Paper, has a bachelor’s degree in English language and literature/letters from the University of Virginia.

Mary Scott Hardaway Fletcher, former cuisine editor and staff writer at the City Paper, has a bachelor’s degree in English language and literature from the University of Virginia.

Lindsay Street has written for South Carolina newspapers and publications for 20 years. She has served as the Statehouse correspondent for Statehouse Report and the Charleston City Paper. A graduate of College of Charleston, she lives in the Lebanon community of Berkeley County, S.C.
